Unless they can wait a few days. A bunch of Walgreens will see pretty much their entire pharmacy staff walk out Monday through Wednesday to protest their working conditions. Not sure which locations will be affected but according to a news report I just read it sounds like it could be most of them.

Some CVS, too.
I'm so glad I worked in hospitals, all these years. Stress at retail level is bad.
I have my Medicare D plan with Walgreens. There're four in town. I was told which one to use by a friend who's husband has MS and needs special medications. They've been great this year. I hear other people complaining about the other Walgreenses in town of being understaffed and closed at odd hours. I have considered changing my part D Medicare plan because I'm still paying $400 a month for my Enbrel shots, after I hit the max. They still charge 5% of the cost. Maybe other plans pay less for Enbrel and therefore my 5% would be less?
The Walgreens near us is filthy. I mean dirty from the ceiling to the floors. It's caked in the corners. The outside drive thru is covered in mold and mildew.
On top of that the bastards quit selling my favorite Scotch.
We have a friend who was a pharmacist at CVS. She did not like working there. Not enough coverage Volume was crazy and she'd have to sign off on each script. Too many tech, not enough pharmacists, prescription errors waiting to happen.
Patricia, isn't there an actual cap on out of pocket spent on meds next year? I did find this: In 2024, after paying the initial deductible, a person on Medicare will pay 25 percent of drug costs. They will have a cap of about $3,250 and will no longer pay five percent of drug costs in the catastrophic phase. In 2025, after paying the initial deductible, a person on Medicare will pay 25 percent of drug costs.
Don't know how all this will work. I received a letter from my Part D plan advising my tier three drug no longer had a co-pay, but a "cost share" in the coming year. They apologized for that change. . That's the med which I now purchase from Canada.
