So glad to hear you weren't hurt, Tom. Cars can be fixed a lot easier than bodies. Are you going to let us in on this glass over the license plate thing?

Hopefully, Tom will not see your query and feel obligated to reply to Granny!

Too bad about your new Laguna! Glad you weren't hurt, Tom. I once saw a cartoon in a German magazine .. Two huge giants, one older and one much younger, looming over a mountain, and looking down onto the tiny cars speeding along the tiny Autobahn in both directions. The older giant leans over the mountain, and says, "On the outside they are hard and crunchy, but on the inside they are soft and delicious!"

With the others. I feel your pain as I was tapped in the rear bumper by an Ford F-350 van that had stopped behind me at a light. The driver was on his phone and spaced out and released the pressure on his brake pedal and bumped into me. The skin on the rear bumper had to be replaced. As I plan on keeping the car until it dies or I die resale is not the issue for me.

As the others have stated, it is only a car in the end. Fortunately no one was hurt.

Tom,

Are you putting Carter/Mondale bumper stickers on this one?

Glad you're OK. Hope to see you again soon!

Sorry to hear about this, but happy that no one was injured.

What is so impressive is that the restoration started hours (not days) latter!
Tom, that LBP looks so nice with those Ricks badges (While stopped at the bridge, I had to ask Susan where you got those).

Hello all. Thanks for your thoughts.

Although I do not have any more Mondale and Carter bumper stickers I am going to vote 1st thing tomorrow morning.

Then off to garage to get the bumper replaced (will preset both odometers to zero - thanks for the tip).

As to joining the dark side, well I just can't (but I can admire). I'm still suffering withdrawal and loyalty issues since I let the Spa go to a friend (I put Rick's badges on the Laguna with the "S" being yellow, as a remembrance of things past).

Granny, as as to the missing glass in my license plate holder the sad story is (oops, dropped call) and that's the whole story.

Tom

Best wishes, Tom. Indeed, go do your civic duty, bumper stickers notwithstanding!
