Default Popcorn

Popcorn, maybe my favorite snacking food. I'm not talking microwave stuff or Orville Redenbackers.

Get yourself a Whirley-pop, some olive or canola oil, and a variety of 'gourmet' popcorn. Strawberry continues to be my favorite but the search goes on. I like tight little kernals as opposed to the big fluffy stuff. Leave the butter off, and it's pretty healthy as snack foods go.

It is mine too, except in a theater

I agree on the method but LOAD it with good old fashion popcorn and then bury it with lots of SALT and BUTTER.

how do you get a strawberry flavor?

I've bought the stuff you get in the theaters and use that at home, only one problem the husks get caught between my teeth and gums and can cause some serious pain for days.

I sometimes make a cinnamon and sugar thin syrup that I pour over mine, yummmmm

It's just strawberry colored before popping, actually tastes kind of nutty to me. Small kernals.

Try some ladyfinger hulless popcorn.

I'll have to try some different toppings, love cinnamon.

I make a mean cinnamon roll so I just made the icing and mixed it with the cinnamon and pour it over.

Where do you buy the strawberry flavored popcorn, I've never heard of it?

I like the idea of hulless.

My +1 had 1 of those whirly pops years ago, she used it so much the gears wore out.

Jelly Belly makes a popcorn-flavored jelly bean. It's my favorite one. I sent popcorn to everyone for Xmas last year from the Popcorn Factory catalog. Got some for me, too. It was really good. They have a tin with three flavors in it. Regular, cheese and caramel. Doesn't get much better than that. Yum...

Popcorn and chocolate, my two favorite foods.

Carmel corn is OK, cheese popcorn is OK, the "regular" flavor is my favorite. It makes a great dinner at times. Rick doesn't think so though.
