Thumbs up Posts Per Day PPD's

Obviously, I'm here a lot, and I post quite a bit. I have to admit I do wonder if any of you think I must have no life.(I do.) Of course my time here and frequent postings could be why I got that recent nomination for CO. I'm here anyway, right?

So does the amount of time you spend here show up in your PPD's? Or maybe you spend plenty of time here, but maybe you just don't care to post very often?

I try to scan most of the posts at least daily, but I'm not normally one to post 'just because'. I have to have something to contribute. The only rare exception is when I post some a silly comment if it pops into my head at the right time. I don't have much time for the semi-serious posts these days.

Lainey,

I think you need a "fifth amendment" choice for your poll.

Charlie's a heavy hitter. I'm a piker by comparison.

But Charlie's babysitting the newbies.

I'll pretend to be too polite to ask for other excuses. HPH

I finally got my ppd average up to a whole number. One! I think I'm better in person. But not much.

I check in most days, but only post when the mood strikes. Some days, I am just toasted and the muse is tapped out.

I do enjoy reading the posts in Vintage. Contributors here are thoughtful, generally polite, and learned to spell before there were spell checkers.

Frank,

I don't see you on the Spring Fling list. Maybe you'd like to get on the waiting list and while at the Fling, we can advise you on the best way to increase your numbers.

I don't know. I think the PPD number is like the price of gas in that it goes up rather quickly but hardly ever comes down.

My PPD went to over 10 when I was the CO of Vintage but never came back down. I do think I spend too much time here, but I don't post anywhere near as much as I used to.
