I wish I had time to read the posts and lurk. I have almost 0 time to post myself.

Let's see, 2 trips from DC to Tampa, this week, one next week and San Francisco the week after.

I will be driving my car in FATT on May 12th though!

You're in a league of your own, Chaz!
There was a great movie about that... but it was about lovely, young women playing baseball, not a fat, old guy who types faster than he thinks.

Does voting count as a post?

I don't know how some of you do it. I can't imagine the hours that it would take me to get my PPD up to 1. And still I think I spend too much time here.

I think mine is stuck on my old average, too. I did see it come down under 9 though. The proof will be in the pudding when I stop posting so much in my new role as plain old Gold Member.

I post 4 or 5 times a day. Why is my PPD so low?

I'll speculate here and suggest that some of the forums (off-topic, maybe) don't count.

This PPD thing is interesting, though. One year, long, long ago in a car-galaxy far, far away, I "won" the annual posts competition for the model I discussed frequently there. It was embarrassing.

People who have been around for several years, of course, will have less-volatile PPD averages than others, like me, who are pretty new. The single-decimal place shown on the board represents, for example 100-post resolution for someone who's been around for 1000 days, not quite three years. Someone with Rob's longevity and current rate would have to post nothing for something like 2 weeks before his PPD would drop a tenth (unless I'm doing the math wrong). I, on the other hand, could get mine up a tenth if I went to work and put up 31 new posts today.

Nahh.

I check in almost everyday, but my posting reflects what I happen to be working on at the time. Sometimes I post away, because I am not occupied with anything at the moment, and I can always find something interesting and inviting to join in on here on in this forum. I hardly ever post anywhere else, though. I don't think I have ever gotten up to 3.0, though.
