Oops, stumbled onto this by mistake. I thought this was a high fashion thread about Prada

 

It's changed! People used to give it away on the streets sometimes when I was a teenager. I remember reading a couple of issues just to see how bad it could be. Of course it was the English version, so it probably wasn't even as bad as the internal USSR edition.

Another amusing thing to do was listen to the news on Radio Moscow, Radio Free Europe, and Voice of America back in the early '80s.

 

Yep, I did that, too!
