Good luck with the new printer. I just had to change the Drum in the office printer. (Brother) I've done this before, but it's been a while. The instructions called for pressing the "Go" key to re-set. I have no "GO" button, nor do I have four LEDs to light up. Messed with the menu a bit, got no where. I finally Googled it. In two seconds I found my answer. "OK is the button I have and the one needed. The instructions I found online were easy and totally different from what came with the new drum.

Google is my friend.

Dave, sorry I couldn‘t get back earlier, but last year we bought a Brother HL3140CW Digital Color Printer with Wireless Networking. It had great reviews and we like it a lot.

Good to know. Even with its high marks 20% of the reviewers on Amazon rated it a 1 or 2, with people mentioning how they despise it after 5 months of use. But I should not rely on those posts; just the one from friends.

Wow, guess Canon did not want me to change my mind. I ordered it yesterday afternoon and it arrived this afternoon from IL !!! I have it up and running and have printed a couple test pieces. They extra paper they sent turned out to be 60 glossy 5x7 sheets of photo paper. I still have 120 sheets of 4x6 photo paper that I've never opened plus two other sample packs of 4x6. I better borrow the wife's iPhone and join Lainey on photo shots.

Thanks Jim. I have to retract my recommendation on using Castle Ink. While their ink is priced low, shipments quick, and seemingly a good company until . . . . you try to get a refund for cartridges not opened. Their site says they will take them back but after emailing them and leaving two messages it has become clear they do not honor it. I just went to their Facebook site and they have poster after poster saying they have not responded to them either. Looks like I am stuck with $117 worth of ink (15 cartridges); ironically the biggest order I ever placed with them.

Try a bad review on Yelp, if possible. Maybe they will respond to that. Maybe...

I ripped them up good on their Facebook. Next day they said they would do an exchange but they don't carry ink for my new printer.

All home printers stink. On the way home from the store, just take them to dump. Save yourself the time of opening the box and setting it up.

So then, do you not ever print anything at home?
