That article is six years old, and I do think that the demographic has changed since then. Probably because of higher fuel prices and a greater awareness of conservation I think that hybrid vehicles have become more mainstream with a wider cross section of people buying them.

When we had kids at home, we also had a Honda Odyssey....giving a wealth of choices to suit the need.I don't think the demographics have changed a whole lot, although the average Prius family income is probably lower...now that there are many available as used cars. Consumers Reports still rates them highly for those interested in being GREEN.
