I've now bought 5 sets of tires, somw with wheels from Tire Rack. They are great.

For those who have the tires shipped to their doorstep, who does the mounting for you and how do you get the tires there? I always have Tire Rack ship my tires directly to the shop that will do my installation. It saves me the trouble of transporting the tires in the S.

I take them to my dealer, who is on my way to work. I can get 8 tires into my Fit no problem. If I had to take the S then I would ship them there.

Mounting is $10/tire.

I've been buying tires from Tire Rack since the 70's. Always great prices and service.

I've never bought tires for the S anywhere else.

Got some new rear's (re-01r's) from them a week ago. Their price was $70 less per tire than a local tire co.

They are great. I had a major puncture in my left rear and bought something from NTB to get me home. I ordered a new pair for the rear and had them in less than 48 hours.

It took two weeks for Costco to get my truck tires in.

TireRack has always been extremely fast at shipment... South Bend to Cleveland usually is a 1 or 2 day turnaround (depending on when you order).

<--Needs to order a set for the wife's car..

(and replacing the PS2s next year is going to suck.. )

um.. Carmen.. you are going to be in Ohio next week? Anywhere near Cleveland by chance? Lunch? Dinner?

Yes, I'll be in the old stomping grounds generally. Lunch or dinner would be good.
