Default Public Display of Affection -- Do You Still Do It?

I don't know why but it just irks me when I see friends kissing each other's foreheads, hugging in public and feeding each other while we're all seated at the dinner table? Holding hands I'm sorta okay but this whole PDA in my face is just making me gag Am I the only one who feels this is rude and sophomoric? We're talking people who are 30+! Are you a PDAer? What age does it all stop? Chime in...

I only I had the opportunity, I'd jump at it Any display of affection, public or private, would be very good. Right now the only affection I get is from my 11 moth old yellow lab retriever.

PDAs are OK. But over the top is bad. Feeding each other is over the top.

I find cell phone use in public to be much more offensive. I really don't want to be hearing anyone's conversation, but the way people use their cell phones it is unavoidable. I think phone conversations should be private, but people talk so loudly that the conversation becomes public.

holding hands, which i stopped doin in 6th grade, i wouldnt consider PDA. but i pretty much act good in public. I think it might be either a maturity thing or a "ive been with this person too long to not be able to wait till i get in the bed"

I have done it, and will continue to do so when i date someone again in the future. Within reason of course. i see nothing wrong with it however, as a single person now, i do sometimes get disgusted somehow by seeing couples showing thier affection for each-other in stores, cafe's etc etc I guess i miss that in my life, and damn Love is in the air now with freakin V-Day coming up

Holding hands is OK by me,but some of the other things like feeding each other isn't my cup of tea. I guess after 27 years I feel the wife knows how to feed herself.

Yeah, the feeding thing is a bit of a turnoff. I find that men are more PDA challenged than women. But I always held hands with my husband and we were very affectionate with each other. I like it.

After 33 years of marriage my wife and I still hold hands, walk arm in arm, hug, etc. in public. I am very comfortable with that and if it offends, well, too bad.
