Question for Computer Techie's
The biggest concern I would have about converting the Pages document to Word is that it might somehow goober up the formatting created in Pages. Again, I have no history specifically with Pages, but it has been my experience with other word processing programs that formatting is frequently screwed up, sometimes in spectacular fashion, when a conversion takes place. You can't believe the mess that is made of some Word Perfect documents when you convert them into Word (and vice-versa).
If it were me, I would first look into doing the save/export as PDF function directly from the original Pages format. (see links above) Then I would use Google Drive, DropBox (I'm not fond of dropbox for security reasons, but that's neither here nor there), or YouSendIt (the 14 day free trial) to upload the file out to the web where the printer can download it. I favor YouSendIt because it is the simplest solution for the printer to be able to download it. He just clicks a link that comes to him in an email and downloads the file.
Good luck!!

Thanks RM, I have been celebrating my grandson's #9 birthday and gave up on the newsletter. Thanks for the suggestions.

Thanks R, Pages is a really basic program - which I don't like and never use. I bought it when I 1st bought an iPad but it sucks. So for myself I replaced it with MS Word for Mac to use on my iMac - cost more but much better. That is the only reason I can open his files - I have Pages. Converting it to Word is not a problem, except it makes a 75MB document a 219MB file but it does not seem to screw it up (I.e., resolution or readability). Nice but I can't transmit or (so it seems) reduce to transmit.
http://www.YouSendIt.com It doesn't get much easier than that.
