Dave and I had a bet on the election. The loser was to make a donation to the charity of the winner's choice. I lost and made the donation. Simple as that.
Better still, in the course of the pms that went back and forth between us for the last week, I feel that we've become friends. We still see things quite differently and exist on different ends of the political spectrum, but that doesn't preclude us from talking and being friends.
