The real thing

Thanks. Footage I don't recall seeing before. I thought that was Aussie headgear which was confirmed at the end credits.
Of interest to me (anyway) was the static parachute jump from the balloon (2:18). For the "legs" (non-parachutists)
among us in this type jump the static lines are pulled out of the bag (bag is secured to the aircraft or balloon, static lines to the jumper) first and are in tension before the canopy comes out and blossoms (opens smoothly). This negates much of the opening shock unlike a jump-and-pull where the canopy comes out first, fully fills, then pulls the static lines out until they run out of slack and transmit a violent shock to the jumper.
Just a quick couple of seconds of a rotary engine. Crankshaft is secured to the airframe and all the cylinders rotate. Lots of rotational mass but few moving parts and easy to cool.

I'm guessing the A-H troops are using a Skoda 7cm AA gun. For ground use.
Skoda 7cm K10 and K16
