I've thought about getting a snowblower for a few years now and this latest storm may push me over the edge.

All the above post are hilarious! Here in maine we look like emil's post snowed in. Snowblowers are no wheres to be found they are are purchased as fast as any dealer gets one. I heard there was a 3 week wait at some places for them. So if you were my way i would recommend any one you could get your hands on.

Driveway yesterday is pictured below now were getting 2 inches of rain on top of that . Notice that roof in the distance thats 16 inches of snow on it the south side.

I really feel bad for you folks who are so snowed in.

Our storm was all rain today, thankfully, our ground was clear, so minor flooding is all we'd expect in our neck of the woods.

Seriously,I had an "ARIENS",8 h.p. 26" wide bucket;had it for 20 some years,never missed a beat;gave it to my brother-in-law,who is still using it.

But,now,at 104,I'm too old,so I hire a contractor to do the job...

I recommend Al Gore and his global warming hot air for snow removal!

Me too. Really. I also have a Honda 5 hp leaf blower and it works wonderful on the light stuff, when there only a inch or two.
