Default Rt 26 in Ohio

We are going to drive Rt 26 at a leisurely pace on Saturday, August 26th and of course back again on Sunday, August 27th at an appropriate pace. We are booked into the Holiday Inn on Pike St., Marietta for Saturday night. We would be delighted to have anyone who wants to, join us for the drive. We haven't set times yet but will do so if it is more than just ourselves going. I may or may not let Alan get behind the wheel this time. This bug removal from the teeth is getting expensive! TACH

Very fun road!! Unfortunately, I've only driven it once, since my old car broke down on the way to OH for the second run. Enjoy!

Ahhhh, memories of Deb's last Rt. 26 drive: "I think the turtle is dead","was that a chicken?" "Oops -- poor squirrel, he's pointing at Jonas." I'll never forget Granny's rolling stop with the car door open either.

That's cool. I guess you really enjoyed the first run. Some day I hope to make there.

Catherine and Alan,

If you have any traffic in front of you on the way back, I hope for your sake it is the guy in the Jeep.

Enjoy.

I wish I could join you for this one - supposed to be fantastic weather if you can believe the reports this far out - unfortunately, I have family coming to visit starting that weekend.

Please have a safe and enjoyable drive!

Dave

Thanks for all the "be safe" wishes. We'll be looking for that Jeep driver, now following him might be another matter.
