It's not an S, but then what is, it's a Z and I have to say it's impressive. We bought this because we wanted to do some long weekend driving and the noise level and hard ride were uncomfotable for the +1. Since this is something we're doing together it would have been unfair of me not to compromise.
So far I haven't been disappointed.
It is a different car but the performance is pretty darn crisp considering the additional weight. It has a lot of the things everybody wants in the S, extra gauges, great sound system, more storage, even though the trunk is a little smaller. There are 5 glove compartments as well as 2 drink holders on the console and an additional lighted drink holder in each door.
My first question is how do you start this thing, there's no red start button.
It has both analogue and digital speedometer and tach. The digital stuff is part of the on board computer display, which you can thumb through. It also shows your tire pressure, elapsed time and outside temp. The stereo plays mp3's wich is something I really like. To top it all off it has 300 hp which ain't bad.
One of the best things about this whole deal is that I sold the S to my son who was just here this weekend and I get to drive it as well.
So far I'm a happy camper.

Now,you must feel Vintage ,for sure.!!
What's next???A Crown Vic.???
I think in Fl if you drive a Crown Vic, Caddillac or Buick you have to have white hair. That way all you see is the hair and knuckles as they go by. I'm not quite there yet, but thanks for the push.
Its a beauty. We had a ZXTwin Turbo before I got my first S car and I looked at the new Zs before I went to the S. I think they're beautiful and verrrry nice cars, but the cockpit area was just a little too big for me. We took our Z on lots of road trips and it was very smooth and a nice ride. They drive nicely, but it wasn't that little sportscar feel that I wanted. I'm sure you'll enjoy yourself and it will give a nicer, quieter ride to your passenger.
Very nice! My wife drives a G35, and sometimes I have a hard time keeping up with her. Those Z cars are monsters on the track, too; But watch out for the loyal Vintage S-ers... We gonna kick yo a$$!
There is a Nissan dealer right here on Route 10. He likes to line up the Zs at the entrance to the dealership to attract buyers and catch the eye of passersby. I admire them every morning as I pass by. Lately, now that we've been having nice weather he keeps them out there with the top down. I think the convertable version is much nicer than the coupe.
Saw 1 just like yours today up here, actually lookes nice with the top down. Congrats...at least the S is still in the family. I wonder how often your son will want to trade cars for the day.
