Default S2000 Ownership - Side Benifits

Have not had the S for long, and am using it as my DD, aside from all the chicks throwing themselves at me, one thing I've found is that when I get into my 07 Corolla econobox, the Corolla seems like the lap of luxury, quiet, soft, no drama. The S turned my Corolla into a luxury car!

ps. I also find that the tires often squeal in corners, as the Corolla reminds me it ISN"T an S2000.

I completely understand this. My S became my daily driver a year or so ago. Getting in it has lost all the thrill that I used to get when it was more of a special garage queen. I miss that. For me, it was a big deal, a treat if you will, to fire it up and take a top down drive. Now it's ho hum. And jeez, when I get into ANYTHING else it feels like a Cadillac.

Glad to hear that you like the S and it even makes you appreciate the other car as well.

OR, I understand your thinking. I feel sort of that way when I drive the S down to SC. The roads are flat, straight and the traffic stinks. HOWEVER, when I come back to the Virginia mountains, I feel like I'm in a different car. You need to get a DD so you'll feel the joy again.

Maybe we can do a house exchange for a month! When you come to SC you can stay at my place and I'll drive my S up to Virginny and drive the twisties. Plus I'll be able to make some hoytee toytee coffee with that Gagme or Gangrene or whatever it's called machine.

I made my son some coffee Christmas Eve and he thought an appropriate name for it was a gagme as well. His expression was priceless (shades of Mastercard) and he said, "Good God, Mama, how do you drink that stuff?"
