S2000 Ownership - Side Benifits
I'm with Valentine
. Pamper the S2, like give it a job, go live it up in the twisty bits, it will show it's appreciation (not rebel & throw temper tantrums).
Plus, the "babe magnet" thing will likely be replaced by "spirited driving zen"!
Almost kidding
, whatever spins your crank. Enjoy your S2.

I completely understand this. My S became my daily driver a year or so ago. Getting in it has lost all the thrill that I used to get when it was more of a special garage queen. I miss that.
We all miss what we don't have.
Maybe I mis-read the topic about the side benefits?Aside from the fact that you have what Car & Driver considered a world class sports car for the first four out of the five years it was on the market.
What you get now that you have discovered S2Ki.com is a community of owners that will greatly enhance your ownership experience.
I can honestly speak for me and my +1 that our ownership experience has been enhanced exponentially by our involvement in the S2000 community here at S2Ki.com.
The people that we have met at the events over the years and the friendships that we have forged have made the ownership experience much more than we ever expected by just buying a car.
I have coworkers that give me a "hard time" about driving sometimes over a thousand miles over a weekend to meet with a bunch of people that I have met over the Internet.
It is hard to explain to them that you own a car that you LOVE to drive and that you have found a group of people that you will drive hundreds or thousands of miles to be with. It is one of those things that motorcyclist, pilots and other enthusiast can relate to, in the comment: "If I have to explain it to you, you will NOT understand". That is the side benefit. Welcome to the S2000 community of people that understand.

Well stated Matt
My daily driver is a 2002 Passat 1.8 turbo with a 5 speed and the luxry package and with an upgraded stereo. When I first got my S, for the first 6 months or so I drove it almost every day. Now I purposely try not to drive my S too much. I spend more time in my daily driver. It makes driving my S a reward.
Of course it helps to be in Florida where you can reward yourself year-round.
These poor folks in the Nawth have to concentrate more driving in the one or two months of decent weather they get each year.
(j/k...sort of. The one time of year I really REALLY miss living in the northeast is late September through early November.
