Things have calmed down a bit. Val did convey to me that she was very touched by the outpouring of condolences, cards, notes and flowers she and Jim received.

Thanks to MsP for letting me know there were additional posts. Many thanks to you all. We appreciate the cards and most of all we appreciate your thoughts and your prayers. Sometimes I think I'm feeling a lot better and the initial drowning grief has passed, but it has a way of seeping into my days. MsPerky has been a great great friend and convo with her has been more than helpful. Jim is experiencing grief as well and consequently has experienced some setbacks in his battle with PD. However, he is still Jim and smiles through it all. The members of this forum are now and always have been quite special to me and I appreciate your friendship all these years. I plan to try to check in from time to time. Free time is a commodity I no longer seem to have, but please know that you are in my constant thoughts.
