Default Saturday Night - Is it "date night" for you?

Saturday night has always been date night for us. We usually hang with friends, go out to eat, or, if our social calendar is empty, we head out on our own. I know for many folks, Friday night is the night they head out. Too tired too cook after working. Friday night is usually just "crash at home" for us. When we have ventured out on a Friday evening, we find the wait at restaurants often longer than on a Saturday evening.

This past Saturday we were heading out to try a different restaurant. It was rather chilly. I actually thought about suggesting we just stay home and go out to lunch somewhere on Sunday. Then I realized that might be an "old person" thing to do. We did go out, we should have taken the Jeep with the auto start to avoid being cold. To top it off the restaurant was rather chilly and I ate with my coat over my shoulders. Sunday lunch is looking like a possibility for the winter months.

Saturday evening is usually reserved for doing the laundry.
During the winter, Tuesday is date night. Local movie theater has $5 current movies.

Home nights are Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday (family night). Although we do like to throw in a Taco Tuesday every now and then. Thursday is good for a mid-afternoon date with friends. Friday - always; no matter the weather, and Saturday -often until Winter hits. See why its so hard for us to diet.

Sunday night is my night to howl! I'm usually still whooped on Saturday and by the time Sunday rolls around I'm ready to go but that of course makes for a rough Monday back at work.

It varies. We go out a lot in the summer. Less in the winter.

We usually go out either Fri or Sat night for dinner. Sometimes with friends.
