I've already made a spot for the trophy.

 

Thank you everyone. I've always tried to keep my S2000 in like new condition but the truth is in a small local event like this its a little easier for an foreign sports car to win. Most of the cars that show up are American cars so the judges have far less foreign cars to consider for the import category.

Still, I'll take it!

 

If you take a look at the first photo you'll see a 1959 Ford Galaxie Skyliner parked next to my S2000. For an American car it was beautiful and very well restored. That car won the grand prize as "Best In Show".

Aside from owning a beautiful car, the owner was a nice guy. I spent some time chatting with him through the evening. He and his car deserved the win.
