SESM Revival?
For me I purchased my S2000 after all the Southeastern Super Meets were long over. Shit Happens but if anyone would be interested in trying to bring that great event back. I personally am willing to try and get this event going again. If any one would like to join me please let me know. To all the old timers and original owners who are still here on the forums please post up. If you know anyone on the other car forums please let me know. I will try to get others involved in making this happen. To those like me that came after the fact are you interested in making this happen once again. I know one of the meets was in Huntsville, Alabama. Any information about this event would be greatly appreciated. Later Bama Dave.
1. Was it an S2000 only event?
2. time of year?
3. Locations?
4. Cost to particate?
Please post up on this.

1. Sounds like a cool idea, however, if it's decided to be S2000s only, I won't be able to attend. If it was open to anyone on the forum, like it used to be, it would be a lot like the dragon events, just at locations other than the dragon.
2. They used to be held in the summer, but that doesn't mean they have to be. It would be perfect timing, though, as it's between the spring and fall dragon events.
3. Locations would, of course, be restricted to the southeast (since it is South East Super Meet), but that allows for a lot of different locations. My favorite one from the past was Sevierville, TN.
4. Just enough to cover the cost of the banquet hall and food. IIRC, everything else was donated or paid for by sponsors. I know I was a sponsor twice.

Yeah, it was a lot like the dragon events, just not at the dragon
Cost were lower because there was a lot of sponsor support. I remember the cost being around $60/person.

Thanks Ken. I knew that I could count on you. I am looking this for some strange reason. I believe that we could get this going again. Looking at going to other car forums to see if they are interested in making this happen. Time will tell. If anyone has infromation about the past event please let me know. Looking for anything. Later BD
