They even mention The Grand Hotel.

Tower #23 was designed to help artillery spotters direct fire at enemy targets off the coast. Built by the U.S. Army, at the start of the war, the south tower was part of a network of fortifications, (including the WWII artillery bunker located at Cape May Point State Park) whose purpose was to protect U.S. shipping and guard the mouth of the Delaware Bay.

There is a north lookout tower located within The Grand Hotel on Beach Avenue. The three

Another thing I did in Cape May was buy some saltwater taffy - Fralingers to be exact. The +1 loved it so much I just ordered another two pounds. It's very creamy and doesn't stick to your toofies. Yum!

^^ I'll be going to Avalon (just up the coast 10 or 15 miles) for a retreat on June19/20 and NEED to pick up a box. I like the larger outlets on the boardwalk b/c you can "pick yer own" flavors....like Molasses Mint

For some reason, Deb, I resisted the urge at SF 09....but I also SWT I think the stickiness has as much to do with "time on the shelf" as it does with the manufacturer.

I used to work with Frank Bogel, one of the "Bogel Brothers". One day Elaine called me in the yard and said there was a heavy package for me. It was 15 pounds of fudge and taffy.

My Jerry and I bought some salt water taffy down the street, on the ocean side when we were there. It was very good. Best I've had, I don't care what flavor. It was soft and yummy.
