With the Exxon Valdez case not being argued in the U.S. Supreme Court over punitive damages that they are trying to weasel out of I wonder how much money Exxon has spent trying to avoid doing the right thing (IMHO) on legal fees?

It fries me that they made the money saving decision to design a single hull super tanker and when it back fired on them they are NOT willing to pay the price for their actions.
