Yes, upscale works for me! OK, guys - spill it...

When I think upscale for men, I think Johnston & Murphy, Cole Haan, Bally.

Ferragamo, Bally, Versace, Cole Haan,Daniel J Pliner, To Boot NY to name a few. No Allen Edmunds (yet)

One day I'll have a pair of John Lobb shoes.

I've got monk straps, lace-ups, split toes, boots, spectators and a few patent leather shoes for formal wear.

I was on a real shoe binge for a while. It's pretty much over now.

I've worn French Shriner, Gucci, Bally. Now? Sears and Nike.

I was a big fan of Bostonians (no surprise there right?) and switched to Jhonston and Murphys. I won't get them again. They broke on me (started squeeking) and have a metal shank that sets off the airport security. Recently, I bought 3 pairs of Florsheim on sale for half price. We'll see how they hold up.

No Alan Edmunds yet. Just can't seem to get over the price!

Good luck, Bill. I had one pair of Florsheim and they were the worst shoes I ever wore. I literally walked out of them.

Of course that was many years ago.

I'm in clogs most of the time. I work standing up at my desk/work space, and clogs are the only shoes that will be comfortable when you're on your feet that long.

I'm barefoot now. Of course it's like a summer night here.

When I go drive my S I have to be careful what I put on. Zoris (thongs to most people) can get stuckand barefoot hurts. I've been wearing sandals this week and Joseph Stiebel's shoes when it was cold.

I have a huge collection of running shoes, all the same kind. I bought 4 pairs last month because my favorite ones were on sale at Road Runner. My husband makes me throw out a pair when I buy a new one. Good thing he doesn't keep up.

I have size 8 1/2 EEE, and I love New Balance, because they have shoes that actually fit my short, wide foot. I usually wear cross trainers or running shoes, but have a pair of all black walking shoes that I use as "dress" shoes when I'm playing in the "pit" of a theater. For real dress shoes I'm using some really cheapo French Shriner loafers that are surprisingly very comfortable.

Speaking of the sneakers with the rectangular rubber tag on the back, does anyone remember the secret decoder ring that Keds put in the box of sneakers? Anyone used to have Chuck Connor's All Stars? (I think I'm mixing up the names here). How about Jack Purcell's tennis sneakers?
