The window trim on BMWs must be really crappy. There seems to be at least 40 videos about replacing windshield trim rubber with thousands of views. Still I couldn't pull up anything specific to a 2012 BMW 228i. Sorry.
I just found out that a BMW dealer can replace the windshield trim for around $150.00. I plan to call my dealer and get it done there. A family member works for them so I will give him a call.

This is the x-ray taken at my 3 week check-up. The one on the left is my right knee which represents what my left knee should have looked like, for comparison. The right picture shows the knee replacement in place on my left knee.

Oh, and thanks everyone for the well wishes! It's feeling much better today and I was able to go up and down stairs with only a little discomfort.

Now I understand your knee x-ray! I went to get my second hyaluronic acid shot in my right knee yesterday and had the surgeon do it this time. I've seen his PA four times but finally got to meet him. He wanted another X-ray before giving me the shot. He said I will need a knee repalcemnt in the future and can get on his schedule now. It's about a 4 month wait. I'm thinking about it. The knee isn't going to improve so why put it off? What do you people think? Here's the x-ray.

Patty, I'm no medical professional but that does look like bone on bone. Does the knee hurt all the time? I've only got experience with shoulder issues. Shoulder issues were tough but knees are a whole different ball game as I'm sure some of the folks here can tell you.

They say most people know when it's time to get a new knee. Recuperation isn't fun, but if the bum knee is interfering with your life, you'll have your answer.

Hugs!

I thought they looked better in an x-ray than in the flesh.

The x-ray was taken with my feet together and with me squatting.

Yeah, I could wait but it's tiring hurting to some degree all the time. I take 4 ibuprofen twice a day and that helps a bit. It's just tiring to always hurt some and it has made me cut way back on my walks and rides.

I'm lucky my stomach doesn't mind. When I took one 800 mg Motrin, though, for an different issue, I did have to stop that. I guess the additional coating on four individual pills helps me.

Before I had a ruptured disc between L-4 and L5 in 2005, I was taking 4 ibuprofens three times a day.

I popped ibuprofen like M&M's for almost two years with shoulder issues. I don't know how I didn't end up with stomach issues. Half the time I took them with zero relief so not sure why I kept taking them.
