The roof is relatively new, so I'm guessing the contractor should have replaced the flashing, when we had the roof replaced, but he thought it to be in good shape The wife not working? Well that's not going to change.
Well,a wife should always be workin, when they don’t work, they have time to think, and they have all kind of ideas...

lol Well I was working doing laundry and look how that turned out. Repair man will be here Friday. Also the contractor returned my call. Based on his last trip up on our roof he thinks it could be a chimney issue. He will come by and check it out and we will take it from there. Laundry dried and put away. Retired people have time to go to the laundromat in the middle of the day and then go for a walk. Amazing

Like I said before Lainey I think you are on to something with this retirement thing. I’m digging the 2 p.m. naps.

A hateful mouth is an ungrateful heart.

^A man I talked to in California last week said this along with lots of other conversation, when he checked me in for an appointment. I asked him to tell me again when I left. I think he's correct. He said a woman told it to him when he was a bad boy and in court, once again. He used to think everything was not his fault. He's a doll, now. He a huge man with a big split beard, a constant smile and the most friendly attitude. He checks people in at Kaiser in Irvine CA.

I really love the game of golf,
I just wish the relationship wasn't so one sided.

Okay one more time...

Below is a “feel good” video that I think you will be glad you watched. Not long, but pretty incredible.

Finally finishing up a several days project (lost count) but its been a week plus. We have ten sections of wood screening that are 4x5 on top and 4x3 on the bottom that enclose our back porch - our favorite place in the house. I had to replace some of the screens because our feathered friends like to dive boom them if a hawk scares them. Also being wood they like to shed their paint, especially when the flower lady I live with over waters the flowers that surround the porch. So I had to replace some of the trim. And of course, both sides (inside & outside) of the screens need painted "without" getting paint on the screens. And finally today I painted the inside outside walls and stained the concrete floor again. I've learned that solvent stain holds up better than water based stain over time. But I used water based and its too late to turn back the clock. And the best part, I'll bet my friends and family can't tell we busted our butts to make it look just like it did before!
