I don't think so since my copay is only $5.00. I told him if I had to choose which thing to treat, I wanted the throat treated. I have a sinus drainage that has made my throat totally raw and left ear is killing me. I dread the very thought of swallowing. He too wants the growth removed from my arm, but the discomfort was terrible. Apparently he is not permitted to do acute care treatment and the surgical procedure at the same time.
Sorry, Val for your pains. (((HUG))) It's probably best to handle one thing at a time, though. Get you a little better off, sinus wise, before complicating matters with your arm. It kinda makes sense, doesn't it?

Val, I didn't mean to sound to harsh.
you also have my sympathy on the sinuses, I had a sinus infection for the better part of a year before resorting to surgery to clear some blockages.

In a practical sense you should probably plan on dealing with your arm after you have totally cleared your sinuses.
You will most likely need to have a prophylactic antibiotic for the surgery and
your better off not assualting your system with multiple treatments at once.

I've had congestion in my throat that has been driving me crazy for awhile. Coughing, etc. I think part of it is the dry weather, keeping my throat scratchy. So I ordered an inhaler - the steam kind. Should be arriving in the next couple of days. Hoping that makes a difference, as well as more humid weather.

I feel for you. I've been dealing with this sinus mess for the past 3 weeks and have had intermittent ear aches, sore throat on occasion, etc. However, last night the throat mushroomed into so much pain I could hardly stand it. As for the arm, the growth has gotten a lot smaller and will only require a few stitches. It has been an utter nuisance. I'm a little bit nervous about getting it done while my throat is in such a mess, but figured if I get up tomorrow and the sore throat is better, I'll go for it. I think the snow shoveling yesterday exacerbated the sinus problem.
Thanks for the good wishes.

Patty, you may want to consider purchasing a baffle for your feeder.
I did try to think of a way to use baffles but the stand doesn't lend itself to those. CA Jerry thinks maybe making the stand slick would help, so they can't get a grip on it. For now, I've been putting the rat trap out. The've gotten smarter or lucky. It keeps getting set but I haven't caught anything.

^See the stand?

^^^

I meant a baffle for a hanging feeder. I have both a plastic dome shaped one and a flat metal one. They are in the garage ..... maybe Matt can help me load a picture of them.

While I was getting dinner ready this evening, Ally was on my computer.

She mentioned a game she wanted was not loading. I suggested she close the internet and start again, but she waited it out.

After she left tonight, I noticed a little note on my desk. It said. "Please God, can you make this game go faster?"

It cracked us right up. Not sure if God answered her prayer, but the game did load, though Rick thought she didn't even end up liking the game.
