My Talia girl likes to carve my leg, kneading, while she sucks on my nighty. I've learned to keep a small towel handy so I can protect my skin. It's a competition between her and Crystal, who gets to my lap first in the morning, when I get on the computer.

She's my indoor subject. Lately I'm outdoors with the camera. She hasn't changed much.

Your kitty does have some long claws. Does the vet trim them? We have to trim Thelma's claws every 2-3 weeks or she will damage the living room carpet. It takes both of us to get it done.

I don't trim her claws or have anyone else do it. She's never damaged anything in the house except the three window screens in my bedroom that I just had replaced with the strong mesh, along with all the other screens in the house. They were all 20 years-old, like my house is, and disintegrating. Zoro's Zion's the one that likes to scratch stuff but he always uses the cat posts. It's just me who gets Talia's claws. She's not one to be held at all and I've never trimmed a cats claws.

Makes sense that she's your indoor subject.

Talia will be one year-old tomorrow, Sept. 13, 2014. I was assured by my daughter that I'm not a cat lady as long as I don't wear my T-shirt in public.
