^Cats on grass this morning. I need to buy more seeds. The old seeds aren't sprouting as well as they did when I first bought them.

^11-17-2019. This was the second batch.

^10-24-2019. First batch.

The Miniature American Shepherd resembles a small Australian Shepherd. True herders in spite of their compact size, Minis are bright, self-motivated workers and endearingly loyal and lively companion dogs who have an affinity for horses.

How long before she meets the horse? Or has she already?

I hope for regular photos of her.
Thanks Patricia, Lainey, and Sue. Patricia that's interesting reading as I honestly didn't research her breed. I think I looked up miniature American Shepards once. The breeder was a horse owner and honestly she looked horse and dog poor but truly an animal lover. Donna will crack up when she reads about the affinity to horses. The breeder keep talking about certain chemicals found at a barn that could kill her.

That's interesting because she met wish list - good looks, female, 40 pounds, not a noisy yappy dog, moderate activity level (breed said they adjust to their surroundings - can be couch potato or an active herder/sport dog), kid friendly, trains easily (so we are told), and slightly under $1k. If she had two blue eyes she would double what we paid.

The best. . . I never miss a plant. The first 24 hours have been fun adjusting to new puppy. Last night she saw her big brother down the street and he still picked on her. So much for the protective big brother idea. She spent her first night alone ever. Pretty scary but after 20 minutes of howling she resolved herself to sleeping till 4:30am. She got her first bath today. I missed taking a picture of it, darn. Sorry Patricia (ha, ha, ha). She's really been good. Hasn't had any mistakes in the house. Stops when I say NO to her wanting to chew up some carpet and after sulking goes to her toys. The really funny part was watching her growl at herself in the mirror and then she got afraid of herself so I had to block it so she come back in the room!

You can't get plants any more organic than that.

Both brown. Breeder said she would have charged at least double what we paid if they were blue. Donna's are blue, that good enough me.

Jim's right. Often one is blue and one is gray or brown.

Yes I thought they often didn't have the same color eyes. I'd say brown eyes = good deal!

What animal made these prints? For comparison, the board width is five and a quarter inches.
