Here's a link to a quick show of our BIG pet - a Friesian - that I took yesterday.

What a studly horse he is! Black Beauty. BTW, it took me couple of tries to get the show to work. I don't know why but it was worth it to try again.

Valentine,

Has Max grown up with cats? Only one of my three dogs is nice to my cats.
No, he didn't grow up with cats, he just really likes them a lot. He's very affectionate and likes to just follow me around. He makes a sound like a man's voice that's really weird when he wants to go outside and when he's snuggling. He and my son lived alone, so I think he's very happy that somebody's around most of the time.

This cat passed away earlier on this year. He was my little ray of sunshine for obvious reason that you can see on the photo but also because of his sunny disposition. Always happy to see me. He used to charm any female visitor to our house.

Great thread by the way. I particularly like the photos of people with their pet. They are lovely and make me smile.

Here is my little one... enjoying her bone.
I adopted her from a shelter 10 years ago. Her name is Annie.
Anyone who meets her agrees that she has a VTEC personality.
Lots of energy and loves to entertain and play.
They truly are our "best friends".

He looks like he was a loverboy. I LOVE cats! I agree with you too, about photos of people with their pets. It does make it more special.

We lost a cat this past summer. We had her or she had us for almost 17 years.

It was

I still have a cat, but I miss the other one. For some reason, she was very special, and smart, for a cat.

I know the feeling. Although I prefer dogs over cats, we have owned a lot of both. Last year we lost one that hated me for the first 10 years, put up with me for the next 5 years, and then adopted me for the last 5 years. We went from three cats to zero last year but she was the only one that I can say I miss a lot.
