What a lovely gentle face. The dog, not you. This is going to be a wonderful relationship.

There are currently four people looking at this thread. Come on, bolt-on! Where are the pics?

I just started looking at the thread from page one. This is a ten year-old thread. We've lost a lot of the animals we posted and even some of the people who posted.

Picking up Titan at the breeder's

a rest stop on the way home

Wake up sleepy, we're home.

The new lord of the estate evaluates his manor

Unfortunately he had a tough night. One of the breeder's dogs got Kennel cough at a show a few weeks ago.
Titan is too young to have gotten the immunization for it, so he's got a nasty cold and cough.
The breeder was rather upset about it and felt awful.
She was wiling to keep him until it is resolved but we agreed it would be best for him to come home and away from the other dogs.
We have his first vet appt tomorrow.

He is cute. Just the size dog I like. I hear he's going to get a lot bigger.

Thelma our shelter kitty made two escapes this weekend to the great outdoors.

Friday night I was holding the door open for Rick, as he was carrying groceries and she bolted, right over the little mat that gives her a buzz if she steps on it. It didn't take too long to bribe her with tuna and get her back in.

Yesterday Rick opened a window forgetting he had not installed a new screen. I came in from the Y noticed the open window, no screen and we quickly figured Thelma had taken advantage of this and she had. She really wants out if offered a chance. At times I feel guilty keeping her in, even through the Humane Society advocates keeping them in, and I know she's safe.

Anyway, she spent a good part of the afternoon exploring around our yard, staying pretty close since there dogs around the neighboring homes/yards. If I approached her she bolted. I was glad she wasn't wandering too far. Later in the afternoon I sat at a small bistro table in the flower garden. She approached me and I grabbed her and got her inside.

Her adventures are over...........for now.
