Thanks, everyone, for your kind wishes and thoughts. Mr. Jingles is now at the Rainbow Bridge, where I'm sure he's doing this:

Unfortunately, Mr. Jingles will be taking his last trip to the vet in a few hours, since he has lost the use of his hind legs. He had been doing so well on his meds for the last 2 months, but yesterday he suddenly started falling, and there is nothing further we can do. The cancer has spread too far.

Not sure that the Petsmart kitty is one of these, but brown cats are rare.
