Patty, I guess the lion-cut look has to grow on you, although I have to admit it beats the matted fur that made Crystal uncomfortable. Did the other kitties recognize her when you brought her home? Also, just wondering how many teeth she has left? Will she be able to eat her regular food after her gums heal?

Nope, I liked it right away. So does Crystal. The other cats just were sniffing her and still are sniffing her mouth, today. I was told Crystal might not want to eat but she acted like a stoner and was walking in circles and scarfing in all the wet food I'd give her. She had the munchies.

On a sad note, today is the one-year anniversary of me putting Zoro down. Of course my heart still misses his sweet affection.

^July 15, 2013. Zoro's last sunset.

On her morning bike run Tara stops for a drink at a little neighborhood doggie fountain for a cool drink on hot summer days. From her run this morning ...

^ OMG you folks on the west of side of the world have too much time on your hands. Where I live they have puddles for that.

Jim, what kind of bike is that you're riding. Small wheel like an ElliptiGO but it's not one.

Patty, that's my Townie bike for slo-pedaling in the neighborhood--built for comfort not for speed. I can't ride my road bikes anymore, but I do ride this one almost every day and also my mountain bike in Colorado. I have never tried Chris' ElliptiGo, but it looks like fun. I just don't have the nerve connections in my legs to control it
.

Is there really such a thing as a comfortable bike seat? News to me.

Ah, it isn't a 20" wheel like I thought it was. Tell Chris, if she ever wants to sell her ElliptiGO there's a good market for a used one. Hers is really special since it's blue (discontinued) and it has the carbon fiber drive arms on an 8-speed. The new 8-speeds don't have that.

Yeah, Chris has only ridden her ElliptiGo less that 10 times. It's like new. She rides a road bike because she can ride with friends -- and there are no ElliptiGo groups to ride with here -- that she can find. If you know of someone who like to buy it, give them my contact info, and maybe we could make some more space in my garage.

Tara likes to bark at the ElliptiGo, so she knows that it is different.

^^^ It was funny, when the people set their doggie fountain out by the pathway, Tara was spooked by the trickling water at first. So she would't get close enough to take drink. I took her several days to actually drink from it. Now she looks for it when we are getting close.
