You are a saint. Thanks for taking care of the black ones, so many people avoid black cats, it is sad.

Here's my 6 month old kitten, Saint, and black cat, Atticus. Saint came from a local cat rescue and Atticus came from the local shelter. Those two boys look like two of your five. I also have another shelter cat, Maury and my only female, a Bengal, Talia.

Saint.

Atticus.

Saint and Maury.

Talia.

^ Patricia I once had a spiritual medium identify our family pets that had passed over to the other side, and her information seemed very accurate. Judging by all of the wonderful pets you've had, you are going to have one hell of a party waiting for you on the other side.

It's 15 degrees out, but this former shelter kitty has not a care in the world. She found her place in the sun................on our bed!

My son's dog came back from the Vet visit due to coughing and heaving. My son was aware that she had heart murmur from the beginning when he picked her up from shelter and was always conscious of this fact. Today was not a happy day for our family as we found out her heart is enlarged with a recommendation to take her to cardiologist. Because her heart is enlarged, it is pressing against her trachea. She was given three different types of medication including blood thinner and hopefully her condition will not deteriorate further. I cannot imagine what devastation will be upon our family when she is no longer with us. She is now a bit more subdued and we'll have to forego regular walking exercise for the time being. She is such a good little dog.

It is terrible when you reach that point of having to address the cost of having a loved pet.
I can't imagine the canine cardiologist is a cheap event. We are lucky we have Tufts Veterinary School close by.
I have no idea how you'd find that otherwise.

My son just got a second dog. The last thing he needed was a second dog when there was nothing wrong with his current one, a pit bull. This one is a pit-mix of some kind. Very small. Age unknown but 3-6 months old.

Sorry to hear of the dog's health issues. It's always an awful time when our pets get seriously ill.

Cute pup, Dave, Nice size. He seems to like Donna.
