Woke up this morning to heavy smoke coming in from the glades. Looks like fog, smells like acidic burning leaves.

Suppose to get worse as the day goes by.

You probably heard about the fire that closed I-75, Flats. I think that we're in for more of the same for at least the next month, so if the wind's coming your way be ready. HPH

 

Yea We're not going to get that smoke till later when the E wind hits. This is off a control burn on the Picyune strand according to the news.

The alley is solid smoke from E of hwy29 to Naples


Must be fire season

Not good...when the +1 and I took a trip down to Virginia Beach last summer, there was alot of haze from a fire in the Dismal Swamp that took awhile to die out. Must have been really bad on those who were living there. It was difficult seeing on the freeway.

 

Sorry to read this, Flts. Those swamp fires are horrendous.
