Being a non-pic poster, I don't know hoe to make it bigger, so just click on it., it gets bigger.
It's getting BIGGER. New projects of snow amount for our immediate area 28.3. YIKES!

No snow here, only rain and it has moved out. Good luck to the NE folks. Heading to Fla. in a week for 6 weeks. No snow worries.

Just over foot of wet HEAVY snow. From inside looking out. Going to venture out shortly. Rick is already on snow removal duty.
From inside looking out.

^^ nice pictures, but they make me shiver. Hope your power stays on and also hope Rick is cautious with his snow removal duty.

Thanks, Jim. This is your kind of weather isn't it?

Val, Rick is careful. The snow blower does the heavy duty stuff and this stuff is heavy and frozen. I just went outside and the snow is above my knees in the yard. I was going to brush the snow off some of our shrubs as they are really weighed down, but it's too frozen. I'd likely do more damage to the shrubs. Hopefully, the warmer weather tomorrow (30 degrees) will help some of it melt.

Wow, you guys got really slammed. Blowers are great, but they are still a good bit of work especially when it is wet and heavy. Soinds like a good day day for Coffe, tea or cocoa, and lots of it. Keep that guy warm.

He just came in for some coffee. He's got good warm clothing on to stay dry too. Ski pants, face covered, good boots.

Many of you know Pinky/Jim from CT. He's dealing with 38" of snow!!!

Matt is in Riverhead, LI and they got 18". The town is closed to traffic except snow plows. Luckily, they are in a senior community park and right next to a main road so they won't be house bound for long.

Now, that's funny!
