Default So, how was your weekend?

Mine was real nice. On Saturday we took care of some chores and got in some S time. Today, Sunday, we spent some time with my mother and father for Mother's Day.

The weather cooperated both days.

All in all, a fine weekend. How about you?

Saturday was nice, and most of today was also. Read my post in the Shoot the Breeze thread for what happened to my S...

Tom

I just read it. What a horrible way to end the weekend. I hope the paintless dent removal can do it.

Recovering from a flu. Finishing up a 6 mos remodeling project - the one that I told my wife 'no more than a month or so......'

Missed all the nice weather. Car is in the garage & I'm taping sheetrock & putting down a wood floor.

Cold...Saturday - rainy and cold all day.

Sunday - rainy and cold all morning, then drying and warmed up slightly. At least I got to autox this weekend....

I swear summer is going to skip over us this year....

Kyras, you still want to trade???

Took off Sat afternoon with top down and short sleeves. Forgot to look up at sky. Within five minutes had heater going full blast, top still down. Another five minutes, sprinkles. Another five minutes, pull off road and put top up, lots of rain. Another five minutes, wind blowing those big Douglas Firs and small pinecones bombarding the roadway. Luckily they're small cones.

Sunday afternoon, mostly sun. Drove aimlessly about for three hours in the countryside. Wonderful. Stopped at gas station before going home. Must rethink driving aimlessly about.

Hmm. Lets take a look. On Friday I worked from 2100-0700. Same again on Saturday. Yesterday (Sunday), I worked from 1800-0400.

I'm sick, have a head-cold, and am stuck at work. Productivity went down the toilet a long time ago. Whats more, is that it is snowing out. I haven't seen my family in a week, and I had to get my sister to buy and gift my mother with a necklace she wanted for mothers day.

All said, a terrible weekend. But hey, thanks for asking

Asif
PS-That didn't sound too cynical did it?

All in all very nice -- Friday's picnic with +1 was wonderful. It was very hot outside, but in the shade of a big old oak tree it was perfect. Took a couple/short drives Saturday and enjoyed the pleasant weather and then saw my Mom yesterday. Very pleasant weekend. TomC -- sorry about your car and VTEXTC about the weather and your schedule.

I think driving aimlessly about is a good thing, Smokee. Certainly clears my head when I need it. Sat was beautification day in the morning pour moi. Had to become a natural blond again. Then went out with new guy. Sun saw my mom who is still not recovered from surgery, but getting there I hope. Sorry some of you guys are sick or overworked or having bad weather - or a combination of any or all of those! We are in for a hot week. Mid to upper 80s every day with t-storms possible. Typical DC summer weather - only it's not officially summer yet!

Friday Saturday and Sunday were all sunny and in the high 70's to mid 80's.Picture perfect weather for top-down crusing.Which is why I'm sun burnt and the morning shower today wasn't as fun.
