Well

I just watched a 5th wheel racing trailer leave with enough stuff to rebuild a roof or two. We leave tomorrow with some more.

I understand we're reroofing a house that still savable somewhere past moblie. The house is someones Grandparents house of another volunteer.

All materials left over will probably go to one of their neighbors with the same problem.

I'm working this weekend so having Thurs. and Fri. off I cosider yesterday and today my weekend. Yesterday I went up to my state capitol to the DMV to get a copy of my driving record. It is about a 2 hour ride and I took the scenic route, route 100 through Woodstock Vt and some beautiful scenery. After picking up my driving record I went over to Burlington and took a look at a Porsche 996.
Today I'm headed out to run some errands and I'm going to transfer my tomato plant to a pot so I can bring it in if we get a frost warning and I'm going to put together a couple of bags of clothes that I'm donating to Hurricane relief.

Route 100 in VT!

Frost warning? I heard we were going to have temps in 40's on Saturday and Sunday AM. Too early for that!

This is a detailing weekend ! So not going anywhere. May take a drive or two locally, and I believe I have a short list prepared by my +1.

Fairly quiet weekend coming up, so will try to get some paperwork at home done that I've been successfully ignoring. Definitely making time for lots of top-down driving, since the weather is going to be spectacular. And the usual visits with Auntie and the 'rents. The +1 is in King's Bay, GA/Jacksonville, FL, so his plans could be messed up due to Ophelia. Sub from the UK is supposed to come in Mon, but may be at sea till things calm down.

Same days off for me too this week. Spending yesterday and today ranking a delivery of firewood, mowing etc. Sat. after work have a wedding reception to go to.
Nights are starting to cool down, should be good for the fall foilage color changes.
By sounds of things the higher elevations should get frost over the next 3 or 4 nights.
