I'm being lazy this weekend. Been up to my eyeballs in family stuff the last 3 months and I'm taking a break for a few days. Yesterday I was at the gym for 3 hours (1 hour workout bookended by raquetball) and today I'm lazing about and going out for coffee with a friend in a few minutes...

^ Hope things are going OK with your family, Brant. We haven't seen you out here much.

Boy did you set yourself up for a large and continuous contingent of S2000's rolling into your driveway.
S'ok by me! I can't think of a better flock of snowbirds that I'd rather have show up at my place. Like I said though, you have to remodel the bathroom before you can use it.

I hear tomcatt is sending us some nasty stuff from the Windy City next week though.
Yeah, I saw that. I don't think it's 'sposed to hit here til Thursday or so though, and next weekend is supposed to be nice again.

Yesterday and today are sunny and above normal temps, so I was able to finish installing the bedroom window. What a mollyhock of a job. At least it's weathertight, at the back of the house and functional. I still have to deal with trimming off the outside of it, I may leave that til spring.

Baby got her winter boots on today, all the rubber in the wheelwells sprayed with silicone, a new oil filter with oil topoff, RainX windshield washer fluid (thanks for the tip Jonas ) so she's ready for winter.

One year, four months and 8 days old (brought her home 6/30/03), with 16,519 miles on her as of today...

Family is perking along. Recovery will likely be long for dad, but he'll get there. He's home now, so that's a plus. He's already starting to regain some of the weight he lost in the hospital. It's been taking up a LOT of my time and focus, so I've been posting in far fewer threads than I used to.

That-a-boy! You post when you can and we'll be around. Glad to hear your Dad is home and improving.

Today I'm cleaning up my S -- she's been sitting patiently in the garage waiting for a sunny day!!! Tomorrow planning to motor up to Ch'ville to a MidAtlantic meet -- probably the last meet of the year for me, so I'm looking forward to it. YAY!!!

Nothing. No plans at all. This morning I slept late. I hope to do that tomorrow morning too.

I'm sure we'll figure out something to do, but for the first time in a long time we've got absolutely no plans, no chores and no major tasks on the schedule.

Went to see the movie Sideways yesterday after work. Quirky and funny. Today just puttering around - a bit chilly for top-down driving (40s). Headed out tonight for a second date with a new guy...I know, it's hard to keep track.

Have a great time tomorrow, Val!
