Spot light on Roseanne!
I'm glad I didn't spend extra money on cable and that rabbit ears work quite well in these here parts.
Whoyou.com says after blowing Frisco, Roseanne got a pad in Topanga Canyon and pursued an acting career. She did a few beach movies and started hanging with a heavy metal band. The record is not clear, but apparently after a brush fire followed by mudslides she gave up acting, moved to the coast and hired on as crew on a deep sea fishing boat. The boat captain was an early adopter and the first one at his port to go high-tech. Roseanne decked out his boat with the latest in network and communication gear. This accomplishment earned her a Mariner Mainstream cover and the rest is history. After earning mega bucks she started collecting and racing exotic cars. Her trophy case occupies one complete wall of her home. What's next for Roseanne is anyone's guess.

I have no clue.
Roseanne's life up through college was fairly normal, pretty boring actually. She had graduated in the top fourth of her high school class and had a fairly unremarkable academic record in college. It is not known which of the three letter agency in the beltway originally hired her or why although she seemed to have bounced back and forth without staying in any one place for very long. The one consistently remarkable thing about her resume was how much was redacted. It really was just one long list of heavy black lines, even the dates had been struck. Eventually it appears she got tired of the dark and wanted to live in the full light of day. Perhaps it was the constant reporting of all of her financial activities which got to her, or never really being able to get close to anyone, or perhaps she never really developed a taste for the wet work as they called it. She had developed a rather unique set of skills, of course most had very limited use or value in the commercial world. One day she just phoned it in and called it done. She wandered west and stopped when she hit the coast. a night course in IT gave her enough tech savvy to generate a believable cover story. The one part of the job she really couldn't leave behind was the thrill of the adrenaline rush. An S2000 and a lotus had to fill the gap. Occaisionally someone would volunteer to help bring back the old rush, like the guy in the ferrari who banged her doors, I wonder if they ever found him. A trip to the doctors presented a problem. So many questions, so hard to remember the cover. Heaven forbid they ever take an X-ray. So much to explain.
I LIKE Roseanne. When I met her the very first time it was ages ago, when she sat at a table with Jonas the night before the first Honda Homecoming (9-8-2007). I didn't really talk to her. Much later, we met again. We both live in southern California and about 60 miles apart. My impression is that she's super smart, and very sweet, especially when she's relaxing with a bit of a buzz. She and I are both night owls.
This summer, we were both at the S2KCA meet in Hood River, Oregon. It was the first time I spent much time with her and her honey, although she and I did sit together at an S2000 group movie a year or two ago. Matt was there too and we drank in his room and got to know each other. Her boyfriend is a good guy, too, and tall! Roseanne leads drives here in so Cal on Malibu, CA roads, like Mulholland Drive. She's thorough with directions and trying to keep people from being dangerous, which I find very admirable in this area. If we lived closer together, I'd like to hang out with her more often.

^July 28, 2014. I love this photo of Roseanne. This guy she was talking to was a total jerk. He wouldn't get his rental SUV(!) out of the way on our group drive. I talked to him about it and he refused to go in the back.

^We saw each other on our drives back to So Cal, after S2KCA Days. I think this was southern Oregon.

Now that Kyras has mentioned Hood River, what it is worth to you that I keep my "mouth shut" and my fingers away from the key board regarding the topic of this thread?
