Anyone have any comments about cutting the resonaters out of the system and having a straight piece of pipe welded in line? I understand that it provides more of a raspy sound.

Sorry Matt, I've not heard an S with the resonator removed.

Actually, Zippy was in my car at the track during FC. Zip, how loud would say my exhaust/engine was? Mind you, it was never below 6800 rpm's!!!

It was somewhat loud, but it was on the track and you have a hardtop (which I think makes it sound louder).

FUJITSUBO LEGALIS-R

Nice deep tone, sounds like a proper sports car, not drony at all. Not much louder then stock pre-vtec. It was a good purchase IMO.

I had A Spugen dual oval, took it off and sold it after one day, too loud and very drony, it did sound fantastic at WOT though.

That sounds like what I had in mind. Seems I picked the right group leader.

with George on his point.

As you may know, gfacter (George) and I scoped out the route that he put together a couple of Saturdays ago. I spent the whole day two seconds behind him. His car does sound like a "proper sports car" (not a sewing machine below V-Tec range) like my stock system does.
