It was really dark by 5:30 this evening. I hate standard time.
That is why I shifted my schedule ahead for a while now, going in from 5:30am - 6:30am central. I can still leave after 10 hours in while it is still light. I don't mind driving IN during darkness, I just hate being at the office while it is dark. I am sure it is pyschological, well that driving with traffic in the dark = no good. Of course in Green Bay if you going in for 5:30am or so there is no traffic at all, and it only starts at about 6:30am (and what I call traffic is clear sailing for any metro area).

I think the worst part about standard time is that its dark when you come home.

When we have daylight savings time in place and its still light when you get home, you feel invigorated. You go out and do things. When standard time returns, its dark when you get home, you feel tired and lack the energy to do anything.

I really prefer Daylight Savings Time.
