I saw an interesting clip on the news regarding a study of the time change done in Sweden.

Researchers noted a 5 % increase in heart attacks in the 2 weeks after the spring forward when we get less sleep.
They also noted a corresponding 5 decrease in the 2 week period following the setting the clocks back.

They concluded that it is indicative that people are not getting enough sleep and that the added stressor of changing the clocks forward makes a difference.

I vote for turing the clocks BACK twice a year.

Retire and you can turn all the clocks off. Honestly, the only time I ever wear a watch is when I flying somewhere.

I attend a class that meets at 6:30 on Sunday nights. About 1/3 of the students were an hour late.

I HATE, loathe, despise, abominate the time change. I truly wish we'd leave it one place or the other and totally stop messing with people's one hour. to losing an hour of my life.

Think of it as an incentive to stay alive until you get the hour back in the fall. When my time comes I hope it will be in a February. I will have gotten past my birthday, and I will not have lost an hours sleep to the time change nor done my taxes yet.
