Default Surviving winter, how did your yard do?

As the melt has been progressing the bushes are starting to emerge from the snow.
The landscaping in front of the house, well dey ain't looking so good.
In fact they're looking pretty beat up, to the extent that I may have some new spring projects replacing a bunch.
The ice falls from the roof really battered some of them.

How did everyone else fair?
can you even see your bushes yet?

Some bushes took a beating. I'm more worried about damage to my siding caused by falling giant icicles. I see some damage already but won't know how much until more snow melts. Some water damage to a few ceilings.

The beds are a mess. In the fall I pulled out two scrubs for a sewer problem. At that time we decided that we would pull them all but that has been derailed by my health. The lawn is really bad. Between snow mold and where the plow driver drove off the driveway plus old sink holes that need to be repaired the lawn is a mess.

It looks like we are going to have get someone to do all of the work.

My yard looks thirsty. California's drought is still on. The plants are getting smaller instead of larger. I'm sure there will be some water restrictions coming down the line, soon, although my water supplier has been late to the game on that.

Come get some of my water. I'm pumping it out of the basement by the gallon.

Mine looks lovely, 'cause I don't have one. All my plants on the balcony are starting their spring leafing/blooming.
