Default Thanks for the Fish

We were fishing yesterday, working some oyster humps out in the bay.
My wife hooked up on a nice snook maybe 26 inches or so.

We'd had a pair of dolphin around us a few minutes before.

When I released the snook, just as I let him go, damn dolphin came out of nowhere and took the snook. Then to add insult to injury, lifted it out of the water, showed it to us and then put on a dolphin show of how to play catch with a fish. This went on for several minutes right next to the boat.

I don't know if this a released dolphin or one educated by tour captains but it was quite an interaction in 3 feet of water.

Either way it was a happy dolphin.

Sounds like a great show in exchange for a fish.

Wish I was there to see it, instead of this 25 degree weather

Yup...they were just saying, "So long, and thanks for all the fish."
