Thursday A.M.--- Installing a new power lock assy in the +1s car.

Thursday P.M.--- Turkey with +1s family at the sis-inlaw's. At least 20 people! Thankfully, not at our house!

Thursday Night--- Kid's overnight at our house. Bringing home the 3 oldest nieces for movies and popcorn.

Friday A.M.--- Install front shocks in +1s car.

Friday P.M.--- Turkey with my brother at our house.

Saturday A.M.--- Install rear shocks on +1s car. (Seems to be a theme here.)

Saturday P.M.--- The twin's birthday party. Back to sis-inlaw's. Most of the same 20 from Thanksgiving. Why we can't celebrate the B-day on T-day I don't know.

Sunday P.M.--- Cut the lawn for the last time! Put the S away for the winter.

You're going to need a vacation after all that, Coney.

I am staying home and relaxing. I can't remember the last time we just stayed home and relaxed. No company, just the two of us. I would guess it hase been about 17 years. We have had to travel over 500 miles round trip evey year on this weekend until last year. Last year was just 40 miles, but we still had to go somewhere. I am soooooo looking forward to this week.

Well, this year we're having Thanksgiving dinner at our place. My folks and brother will be coming over for the grub.

Otherwise:
1) Clean up the house for Anika's birthday party a week later.
2) Finish the garage shelving that I'm building so I can get all the garage stuff off of my deck.
3) Cleanup the S (final fluid change on Tuesday) and put her away in the garage for the winter.

Some friends from the UK who are currently vacationing in Orlando are coming over for a traditional American Thanksgiving. It should be fun since it's usually just Dean, his mother and me and I have to cook yankee dressing. How a southerner ended up having to make yankee dressing is beyond me, but "those people" just don't eat the same things that we do! Maybe since we need to show the foreigners the full range of Thanksgiving goodies, I can sneak in a few southern dishes!

And, mns2k, sorry but on Friday ----- (and you won't be the only one hating me for that -- all of my brothers, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews went to Aggieland!)

What is Yankee dressing? We traditionally have had two types of dressing. One from bread, the other was a French dressing made with ground beef and pork. Nothing like stuffing meat with meat.

It's the stuff that normal people eat. The Southern stuff is some kind of nasty cornbread crap with "peecans" and who knows what else in it. I'm surprised that it's not deep-fried, smothered in melted Velveeta, and stuck on a stick.

Oh man! You're off to a couple nights in the guest room for not appreciating your southern bride and her Thanksgiving traditions.

Watch yo' mouth, there sonny! You live with and eat a southerner's cooking, I'd be very careful how I talked about our food if I were you.
