Those monthly bills.
The sirius thread triggered the thought.
what are your recurring, monthly bills. ( or quarterly) or annually
there are mortgages and insurance and utilities i.e. electric.
but i'm thinking of the others.
cell with or without data plan.
SiriusXM?
cable, TV? Internet? Phone, as in landline service?
newspaper?
Homeowners assoc?
I've got Mbrace which is mercedes raodside telemetry recovery service X3 cars.
Data backup services?
it's is amazing how it all adds up. And who could have predicted some of them 50, 75 or 100 years ago.

my wife added Netflix, and Kindle subscription.
not to mention google music subscriptions.
I guess my #2 son would throw in website hosting services.

I figured that you must have more than "Garbage pick up, dog grooming, electric," and that you were just listing the more "unusual" ones.

LOL. We had a meeting with our Fidelity adviser a couple of weeks ago. Looking at preparing for retirement in 2020. He asked us how much we thought we would need to take out every month for living expenses. LOML says $8000/month. I'm like OMG, what are you going to be doing with that? We won't have a mortgage once we retire and relocate somewhere less expensive to live, so I think that is crazy fat.
Anyway he tells us to do a summary of our "necessities" that we are paying right now. The list we came up with is much longer than I was expecting. We are going through the bills and such to get a feel for the numbers.
