Default Thread for those not going to SF08

Since misery loves company....

Who else will not be going to SF08.

Its a little far for me...plus I just went to WTD...plus we are headed to Del. in June for my parents' 60th wedding anniversary!

But I will sure miss meeting some fellow vintage owners.

No drive is too far... Dave this wouldn't have been too bad if you split it up into two days. Of course, things like work, life, vacation time can mess with that plan.

It's that life/vacation time thing that gets in the way.

We drove to VA twice last year, and that was a blast, but the Dragon just didn't work into the plan.

You really should go to DBR08 or WTD09--it is a total blast--and don't worry about the crowds-it's not that bad at all.

Well, the other issue is the lower back amongst other things. Just not up to it this year.

Maybe next year. Wouldn't have happened this year as +1 just started a new job. Couldn't take that much time off.

I'd like to make two road trips next year. One towards SC maybe the Dragon, in the spring, and the other to Nova Scotia, Canada in the summer for our anniversary. I don't see both happening....

Maybe we should hold a lottery in this thread and the lucky looser (I mean winner) will get a call from those of us that are attending SF08 no earlier than midnight on Saturday night when we are being lead in the sing-along by Legal Bill singing Day Dream Believer.
