So there was a Tesla, a Porsche, a BMW, and a Honda S2000 gathered together on Cape Cod. A car meet! The Tesla owner invited himself over to Legal Bill's. It was time for a boat ride.Who needs cars at a car meet? Rick and I went to supervise the young people as well as Legal Bill. What a great time we had. Legal Barbara stayed behind on the first portion of the daily activities, she is smarter than the rest of us. Off we went in rather choppy seas headed to Martha's Vineyard. A quick stop by the lighthouse in Falmouth and for some gas for the boat. Bill passed the hat and we all chipped in $5.00 for gas/person. Just kidding, this trip was on him. So into the ocean we headed...did I mention it was choppy? We had an absolute blast on the boat, arriving at the Vineyard more than damp around the edges. We had lunch at a place on the water and took a quick stroll around to look at the gingerbread cottages. There was more on the agenda. A longer visit "on the Vineyard" will have to happen another day. Back into the chop we went, we hit a couple of waves and most of us looked as if we had wet our pants. That was a good thing as I "got air" on some of those waves, so had I had an "accident" no one would have to know.
Back to the Cape House to pick up Legal Barbara to begin the beer and wine tour of the river. We saw beautiful homes, great boats, and wildlife. Someone had left the other camera with the big girl lens back at the house...that would be me. Missed photo ops of many osprey and a couple herons. I guess I'll have to ask Bill and Barbara to take me for another ride some time. Back to the house for a cookout and great conversation and many laughs.
Most of us have figured out long ago that these gatherings are all about the people, and damn we had fun with these people today.

Thanks for posting and being the group photographer, Lainey. It was so much fun and everyone was such a good sport. Good thing the water was warmer than the air. Always happy to have S2000 friends down.

Wow, that looks like a blast. What model of Tesla do Laura and Julius have? Did Bill catch any fish? I"m guessing not or there'd be a photo of it. Love the photos, Lainey.
